Who We Are
Our Mission: To stand by those who stood for us — by helping them rebuild their strength, confidence, and connection after service.
Bright HorizonFirst Response (CFR) is a non-profit organization founded by former combat soldiers, dedicated to supporting the brave men and women of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and security forces. We are a “Boots on the Ground” organization, offering unwavering support to those who tirelessly safeguard our nation, both in times of combat and during daily operations.
Born from firsthand experience, CFR understands the unique challenges and sacrifices that come with military service. The idea for CFR was sparked by the October 7th attack on Israel, which highlighted the urgent need for dedicated support for our soldiers. Our service in the IDF reserves after the attack opened our eyes to the broader needs of the IDF. This realization led us to expand our mission and embrace a wider circle of service members.

About Us
Why We Exist: Too many soldiers finish their service feeling isolated or forgotten. We believe that with the right support — practical, emotional, and spiritual — they can transform their pain into power and move forward with pride.
We recognize the critical need for mental health treatment and emotional support for soldiers who often face intense and traumatic experiences. Our programs are designed to address these needs, providing comprehensive care to help them heal and thrive in civilian life.
Driven by a deep-seated commitment to our soldiers and our country, CFR operates as a grassroots initiative. We are passionate about supporting our troops and providing them with the resources and assistance they need to carry out their vital roles with courage and dedication.
